Her experience includes contributing to public, civic, educational, and botanical garden projects, where she has supported all phases of design from site analysis and concept development through construction documentation and implementation.

With a strong foundation in visualization, graphics, and technical design, Ella enjoys exploring how landform, materiality, and ecological systems come together to shape memorable built spaces. Her work is guided by a commitment to context-sensitive design and a belief that successful landscapes should respond thoughtfully to both people and place.

Ella holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver and values collaboration throughout the design process. She is passionate about creating environments that balance functionality, beauty, and long-term stewardship.

  • LEBANON & BEYOND GARDEN

    The Lebanon & Beyond Garden at ABQ BioPark celebrates the shared cultural and ecological traditions of the Mediterranean and the American Southwest. Ella Reid contributed to this immersive landscape by detailing custom limestone walls and arches, coordinating with artisans and fabricators on the garden’s mosaic water feature, and supporting a planting palette that blends Mediterranean and Southwestern species. Ella Reid contributed to this project while at a previous firm.

  • PEACE GARDEN

    Landscape Designer Ella Reid was central to the team behind the Peace and Healing Garden at the Auraria Higher Education Center, a landscape designed to honor the displaced communities and ecologies of Denver’s earliest neighborhood. The design establishes a serene, grounded environment where native plantings, natural stone, and water create spaces for reflection and meaningful gathering. Ella supported the project from its earliest stages of site research and analysis through construction documentation. Ella Reid contributed to this project while at a previous firm.

  • SOUTH COAST BOTANIC GARDEN VISION PLAN

    Ella Reid contributed to the South Coast Botanic Garden Vision Plan, an award-winning master planning effort that reimagines a former landfill as a vibrant public landscape. Ella supported the vision through research, visualization, and design development, including the Pollinator Waves concept, a series of sculpted berms designed to create diverse microclimates for native and climate-adapted plant and pollinator communities. Ella Reid contributed to this project while at a previous firm.
