Terry Stone is a versatile and accomplished Landscape Architect, licensed in three states. He has delivered impactful design solutions for a broad range of national and international projects. Known for strong client relationships and attention to detail, Terry leads projects from concept through construction, skillfully balancing creative vision with practical considerations like budget, client goals, and regulatory requirements. With a hands-on, collaborative approach, he remains grounded and dynamic, driven by a desire to continually learn and grow—both as a leader and a team member.
Terry is dedicated to creating functional, memorable spaces that enhance user experience and foster meaningful community connections. His diverse portfolio includes parks and open spaces, trails, riverfronts, plazas, schools and campuses, neighborhood developments, multifamily and senior living communities, master planning, mixed-use developments, resort and mountain environments, signage, and wayfinding. PERFORMANCE PARK
Tucked between a high cliff and the flowing waters of Fall River, Performance Park was envisioned as a civic anchor and cultural destination for downtown Estes Park. The goal was to extend the Riverwalk and revitalize a lesser-used portion of downtown. As Project Manager, Terry Stone led a multidisciplinary team through designing the half-acre park and amphitheater, while overseeing the project through construction and opening day.

THE GLENN
The site and outdoor amenities for The Glenn Apartments, a 5-acre mixed-use residential community in Centennial, were designed by Terry Stone. The project features over 335,000 SF 785 apartments featuring ground-level retail, with abundant site amenities as a signature feature for the community.

GORE VALLEY TRAIL
Connecting Lionshead Village to the Vail Public Library, this highly trafficked section of the Gore Valley Trail required thoughtful realignment to enhance safety, accessibility, and environmental resilience. Terry Stone led the redesign of this quarter-mile segment, working closely with the Town of Vail to protect the sensitive natural setting along Gore Creek.
